The Belfast Sausage Company is run by three generations of the Armstrong family, who have been involved in farming for generations. Moving into the meat business was a natural progression for them in the late 70s – starting off supplying butcher shops direct from their farm in the Castlereagh hills.
That same farm today boasts a fully EEC compliant factory and shop and they have two further retail butcher shops in Belfast. We first entered a small local sausage completion in 1988 and won a gold prize at our first attempt and won several more over the next few years in Ireland and the UK.
Now days we concentrate on producing the best sausages and vegetable roll we can, all hand produced and packed by ourselves to an unrivalled standard.
At The Belfast Sausage Company we know how when you are away from home it can be hard to source some of the products that you enjoyed at home so we will do our best to bring at least some of those to you each week from chip shop pasties to Veda and sausages.
